So I finally got the Dragon Quest - Blue Slime controller.  It rocks hard.
Whether you're an old school gamer that played the original DQ (raises hand) or enjoying the new kick-a** DQ8 (raises hand) this controller PONES.
The underside/overside (depending on how you're looking at it) of the controller, plus a Scrummy hand and lap. |

You know, silly as it sounds, the Slime might also be a good example of good controller design, too. It'll keep the sweat off, and if it can do the full set of controller functions, so that you could play any PsOne/PSTwo games with it, it could very well be just the right thing. How big is it? |

It's actually very ergonomic, as well =D It's about 3-4 inches diameter; it fits very comfortably in my hands one way, but for people like Max, who have ultra-long hands, it fits very comfortably, but in a different way. If that made any sense. ^^;
And it works very well for sweat =D You have to feel one sometime. The "skin" on it is very unique; very comfortable. It's like the plastic isn't hard (it is, but you don't exactly feel it while you're using it).
It's also very versatile as far as game use (it works on both Ps1 & PS2 games) and has analogue and vibration functions =D

I've been drooling over it for about a week now (the length of time I've been going into gamestop, staring at it, then turning around and leaving before I bought it). I finally broke down and bought it. I couldn't take it any more. |
