This Friday's issue of Japanese game mag Famitsu announces that the DS is getting Phantasy Star Zero. The game's characters are designed by Toshiyuki Kubooka (THE iDOLM@STER), and the scenario is mystery novel writer Teru Arai and former PSO quest honcho Tooru Shiwasu. the scans and artwork look odd, the characters look like PSO style, but the locations look more like PSU... Hopefully its the former, because as much as I enjoyed PSU, its no PSO!

Actually, as of now, the only thing I don't like about PSU compared to PSO is that there's too much to do. Too many locations. The game is MUCH improved from when it first came out. So as long as they have drops like PSO and not crafting like PSU, I'm all for PSU-like location, since, ya know, many of them are beautiful!
