Has anyone else caught this on History Channel? I kinda always though that it would be neat if somebody brought back the olde tournament action back. This is very interesting to see how they actually train and compete. I thought they would have used a different wood than Douglas Fur for the lances. I'm not sure where that stands on the hardness scale for wood, but I guess it does what it needs to do. But I like what I'm seeing so far. |

I saw the commercials for it and it sounded interesting. Haven't caught an episode yet. I'll have to check it out.
I think I am one of the few people that actually enjoyed A Knight's Tail after all. |

After I saw that movie, i asked myself, "I wonder if they do this professionally?" I think it would be pretty cool to see live, especially if they had different armor styles and colors. As long as the gridded gran-guards are the same for everyone, the armor style wouldn't really matter. |

Man, I've been so amped on this. My buddy from work and I discuss it almost everyday. After watching the third episode and seeing all the guys getting better and better, I really want to get to watch an event live. It's a good kinda rush. I couldn't say I have a favorite so far, but I do like Jake Nodar's personality. He doesn't take himself so seriously, which is pretty refreshing in a group full of guys trying to ooze machismo. I don't think he'll win, but he's entertaining to watch. |
