moving on - rejected

ok first things first, ive never really felt like ive been accepted by my family, i always felt the odd one out.

and about a year and a half ago i was living with my dad,sister, step mum and step brother and step sister, my step brother used to steal off everyone (ive heard he still does) but he never got the blame for it, until i got kicked out, basically everytihng ended in a big massive argument, my dad went to hit me and i hit him back, then he told me i had to leave, so i was forced to live with my mum and step dad (i really do hate my step dad) i ran up big phone bills because of PSO and then phoning my girlfriend, and everything i did my step dad would pick up on and complain about, even if it was something like leaving the power for the shower on, something small, and if he didnt take it out on my mum he'd drink more and more, well this started getting too much for me after about 6 months of living with my mum, but i put up with it coz i had no where else to go. but this past week, i forgot to pay my board (once in 18 months!) and they werent too happy, we had a massive argument i went to my room went to slam the door shut but ended up ripping it off its hinges (it was only a cheap hollow plywood door) and they got more pissed and said i had to leave as soon as i can, my mum spoke to my dad and he said i could go bk there, but i didnt want to bcoz of what happened before, and the fact im on anti-depressants will only make things harder for me being there, so i spoke to my girlfriend (its a long distance relationship) and she asked her mum if i could go live with them, so on monday im moving away from my birthplace away from 18 years of memories, good and bad, and the only thing that upsets me is the fact i may not be able to see my nieces and nephew grow up (Danielle, 8, Cerys, 4, George, 2) and ill be leaving my mates from the past 5 yrs behind (never really had any proper mates before that because a lad that bullied me turned them all against me, then i moved to the other side of the city and started a new school and made new friends) but then theres only gonna be 3 of them left after thursday, most of them have already gone off to uni and another is going to france to work on a ski resort for 6 months to a year, but my best friend Steven, the one who i've got so drunk with we've been dared to eat a clove of garlic and actually done it, the guy who foned me after Tequilla night #1 (ill tell u about that if u want me to) and said he jumped out of a taxi and was gutted when i told him and went one better and said id been woken up by a real cute nurse in A&E, yeah im scared of moving on, but isnt everyone? im also excisted coz ill be able to be with the girl i love, and be able to watch her sleep and hold her and protect her and be there when she needs a shoulder to cry on, im just rambling now, but i thought i best fill u in on why i might seem down the next few weeks or so, but then how can i be down with ppl like Sperrit and Reverand around?

That's horrible, Riva, about yer parents and that. At least you are moving to be with someone who will take good care of you! And do not worry! You will meet lotsa coolio friends! I may have never had to walk down the path you are my friend, but I can only hope that you'll find a silver lining in this all, and be able to move forward with a productive life.

Man. That's a lot of crazy stuff. I can't imagine how hard that's got to be, going through all of that. I don't know how I'd be able to get through. You've got real strength, my friend. That you do. Sorry to hear all this is happening to you Riva.

It may be wise to move away due to the current situation, but don't lose sight of your family and friends. Especially your parents. You need to keep up with them. Things will cool off and all will be good again. Everything happens for a reason (I think Rev will agree with me on that). Maybe this is happening for you to move on become more independent, or maybe it's for something else. But rest easy knowing that this was supposed to happen for some reason. And everything will work out in the end.

I agree with Shino, who thinks that Rev will agree with him. Everything happens for a reason. You just have to figure out why. I'm sure that this is all for the best, no matter how hard it may be at times. Again, goo luck.

i remember when i was young my dad hit me and i waited for him to fall asleep and when he did i dumped ice cold milk all in his mouth and told him that if he ever hit me again that i would find a way to repay the favor towards him. he hasnt hit me since....just grounded me.

I agree with the others. Everything does happen for a reason. I would like to add that always remember that what goes around comes around!!!!
Also remember the good times, and learn from the past. It sounds like the move is whats best for you and you have all these great friends here who will always be here if you need to vent or just talk. keep smilen man!!!
