OK here is a new update to the tournaments...

Losing fighters will get experience points...

1/4 of the lower of the two winning experience amounts.

So if a level 1 fights a level 4 and wins, they get 4000 exp. But if the level 4 wins, he gets 125 exp and the level 1 gets 1/4 of that. This will promote the fighting of equal levels.

So if a level 2 fights another level 2, the winner gets 1000 exp and the loser get's 250.

Trash talk already... I love it!!!

I didn't get the chance to do this last night so I'm going to do it now.

How Shino decided the Brackets.

It was almost all random.

I wanted to put all the level 3s and all the level 2s on the same side of the same bracket so they would fight eachother first and the level 1s would have a chance to level up a couple of times before getting to them.

Unfortunatly, that didn't happen. Mainly b/c if it did, it would have placed Gorty and Musashi in the same bracket and that couldn't of happened. So I had to seperate the level 2s and 3s. There is a pair of 2s in each bracket ( fighters 5 and 6 ) and a pair of 3s in each bracket ( fighters 7 and 8 ). From there, all positions were random. I put everyones name in a hat and picked them out and the order I piced them out was the spot they got.

Why is this an issue?

Well because in the second round, a level 3 will fight a level two. The only exception to this would be if Musashi won his fight where he would advance to level 3 before fighting either Shino or Ain. Then even worse yet, the winner of that fight will be level 3 no matter what, and their opponent in the third round will be a level 2.

I hope this isn't too confusing and I apologize for the way it is set up, but it is the most fair way I could do it and keep the BMs from BMing their own fight.

Well I guess we will get a few chances to see if the lower levels actually have a decent chance when it's just one shot.

For all of you to feel a little better, last night I ran a test of Shino (lvl3) vs Hoth (lvl1).

Out of 30000 battles, Hoth won just over 8000 of them. So it is possible.
