Pot and kettle is a reference to Rev and Sperrit from the "ol' days."

Yay! story time, tell us the POt and Kettle story!

Yes, Pot (Reverend) and Kettle (Myself) were names that were well known in a time long ago. Over a year, I believe. It all started one night long ago. Both Pot and I were deep into the dark powers of the Massive-Post-Fu, and we tested our power against each other that night, posting and reposting in all of the topics on the board. It was a glorious gluttony of posts! In fact, in one topic we started having a conversation about the crazy amounts of posting that we were engaged in. I think I said something along the lines of "There's no way to keep up with you, you're posting so much!" and then he said something along the lines of: "Look who's talking! You're posting as much as I am" and then I said "Well, that's the pot calling the kettle black."
And, thus, the names stuck.
It has been a long time since then. Much has happened. We have both abandoned Massive-Post-Fu as a dark art. Yet I shall always remember those days fondly, for Rev was a great friend, even though I only knew him through the net. I hope that wherever he is, whatever he's doing, that he's doing well, and living up to his limitless potential.

Kettle, might I say just how much I loved (and still do) when we are able to just talk. And yes, we are Pot and Kettle, two members of the Post-Fu Recovery Program (PFRP).

And while both of us have decreased our posting counts per night (it was concievable to check the board and see near every recent topic to have been posted in both of us) and I've had much of life get in my way of posting time, it is good to know that ther are people out there who liked my company

Its alwyas so cool getting to hear tales of the 'old days'. Wesites, just like historical landmarks, each have their own histories too. Learning all of those little nuainces is impossible, but we have to treasure the ones we stumble into. Those are what make us part of the internet, part of the world that isn't a world. *sigh* Nostalgia!
