J.K. Rowling's interview with NBC confirms the rumours that she's going to be writing an Encyclopedia of her own, though it seems it'll probably be more along the lines of "Everything I didn't put into the books, but which you still want to know" including what happened to everyone she didn't tell us an ending for in Deathly Hallows, and backgrounds that didn't make the cut (such as her infamous backstory for Dean Thomas that never quite made it).
This sounds fantabulous to me. I am sad that we'll have to wait so long for it, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it. |

I doubt it'll be the only book she releases to do with Harry Potter now though, money's a very powerful thing. |

I don't know about that. The way she talks, it seems like she's ready to wash her hands of HP (She really doesn't need more money anyhow, she's a billionaire as it is) and start on other stuff. |

When you have that much money, you only want more.
Besides, she has mentioned not specifically writing about Harry, but writing about the world of wizarding in which Harry Potter is part of, in sorts kind of how theres always a few characters that the Discworld novels usually mention. |
