Hey guys... I hate soliciting, but this is a really good cause and we couldn't help but get involved.
We are doing an Event called Extra Life. This event is a 24 hour gaming marathon where we, along with thousands of other gamers around the world, will be raising money for Texas Children's Hospital. All donations go to the hospital to help kids with Cancer.
It's an amazing cause and we are really going out of our way to try to make this something special. On the 18th of this month starting at 9AM eastern time, Jason (unastrike) and I will be doing their 24 hour marathon from Jason's home and they will be streaming the entire event on Ustream.tv

Just posted this new thread on another forum... since it has the video we did... thought I would post it here too.
This Saturday, October 18th, InDis, along with the Goo, PSNation and many VGEvo members, will be participating in the Extra Life charity event to benefit pediatric Cancer research at Texas Children's Hospital. The event is a 24-hour gaming marathon and will be begin at 9AM EST. Jason and Chris will be locking themselves into the living room and streaming the entire thing LIVE!
We encourage you guys to come and "hang out" with us. We'd love to have you and plan on doing a lot to interact with everyone. Among other things, we're going to be taking requests while we're playing Rock Band and we'll also be having some auctions for cool shwag like LBP Kratos Codes, NBA 09: The Inside hats, a Incredible Hulk super pack and more! Not to mention there's a chat box on ustream so we'll be able to talk with all of you too!
Similar to a walk-a-thon, you can choose to sponsor us during the event. You can pledge as little as $1 an hour ($24) or just a flat donation of any amount. Even if you can't afford to do an hourly sponsorship, the smallest donations, even $5, goes a very long way to helping these kids and the fight against this disease.

Anyhow, good on you guys for doing this, we're always doing what we can for charity, even on our low income, and it annoys me when people shun all kinds of charitable stuff. (hell, we bought our 2-piece suite from the British Heart Foundation who fund heart surgeries in this country!) |

Yeha it was a blast. We raised over $900.
It was great to see Nogs show. He was the only PO that's not on VGEvo that showed though. 
CK, Gaaz, PRG, Terin and Shan were also in on the video at times. |

It was a blast for me, I fianlly got to see some of the guys I've only ever known online.
