So... I was a big fan of the original game... now they have add online including coop.
Last night... CK and I got a chance to try out the coop and MAN was it fun!
This game is definitely a day one buy (along with Brutal legend on the same day \m/).
Visually... it's got to be one of the best looking games I've ever seen on a console.
The game play is solid and the gunplay has been improved.
I still feel like that bullet sponge issue is there but at least I felt like the other weapons besides the pistol had a point. In the original I really felt like the pistol was the best weapon throughout the game.
The coop level in the demo is pretty good. Gives you an example of just about everything the game has to offer. Cover, portable cover in the form of a riot shield, team platforming, etc.
Overall... I'm very happy with what I played and I can't wait to get my hands on the real game on the 13!

I was in on the early beta test and my daughter loved it (she also plays GTA, WET, and CoD). I'm not much the shooter fan tho I did like it technically. And yes, the grafs do look pretty good. I wish Sony would put as uch effort into a PS3 Twisted Metal (where the hell is Insomniac anyway?). |

Wha?
Insomniac doesn't do Twisted Metal. It's been in house Sony since the beginning... right now Jaffe has it with Eat, Sleep, Play I believe.
Insomniac is working on Ratchet and Clank Future: Crack in Time which hits at the end of this month.
If you haven't played the first Uncharted... you definitely should.
You can probably find the game pretty cheap now since it's a greatest hit and the game is freakin' awesome... it's not all shooter either... lots of platforming as well. |
