There is a emulator out for the Star Wars galaxies pre cu(that pre combat update) it's not fully completed yet but you can make a character, and grind out your chosen profession. There is somewhat of an economy and a guaranteed 200+ people on at all times, but there is a server cap set at 900 for certain reasons, those being the bandwidth just can't support a lag free environment with over that number and while this is still a TC(test center) not even in alpha stage, they just capped it rather than pay for more bandwidth(when it goes live however it should hold roughly 2,000- 3,000 players and that's just the one server) To get on the test center, NOVA, as it's called, just go to ---> http://www.swgemu.com/ and create an account there then head over to ---> http://launchpad.thewildclan.com/ and download the LPE(launchpad enhanced) after you have a fresh install of Star Wars Galaxies, the trial version is not supported. Must be the retail copy. Use the LPE(launchpad enhanced) like you normally would the original game, let it patch up and go online, type in your account name and what ever your password is create a character and have fun!
