*A flickering sign hovers above the cavernous, quasi-Roman, semi-Norse pillared entrance, showing bloody scenes interspersed with the Arena's logo. Simular signs float above the ticket vendors, actually people for the sake of ambiance, and mostly in vaguely historical costumes*

*A dramatic voice booms from invisibility*

"Now's your chance, see all the violence of classical historically educational battles from the hero's and villians of ancient Neopia reinacted before your eyes by very real, very living, very authentic clones! They live to fight, and die! See the villian Sperrit, famous for burning ancient Miniopian city's with Bloody Aindriahhn! The Irishman who ate three, you heard it, three babies a day!"

*Threatening growling can be heard from the background, as well as flames!*

*The voice continues*

"See the likes of Tobias and Demonic battle in our everchanging Arena, against suprise enemies, and dangerous traps! See it all from the safety of are plush seats, or for the very rich, our luxurious floating boxes, our pilots can give you any angle of the battle you like!"

*A floating box zooms across the screen*

"Enjoy our delicious food, and world famous drinks! Scotch older than civilization avaliable, drink what they drunk! Actual bottles, or for the less inclined, reproductions of such ancient drinks as Aindriahhn's Choices, do they contain babies?!? Buy one and find out!!!!"

*Several adverts flash across the screen before the message repeats*

Want to fight? I'll BM hits and misses, just PM me the scenario you want, or let me write one and I'll set it up in the Battle Arena! As many or as few characters as you'd like!


The concept is that it is a form of entertainment in a revisionist future, something like Orwells' 1984, but probably closer in behaviour to Huxleys' Brave New World.

You can do one of two things...

PM with the scenario, battle set up, and exactly what you want to happen as the fight progresses, I'll set up the thread. The characters (ie you and someone(s) else) do all the fighting, but I'll do the narration of the arena, and decide randomly the hits and misses, to keep it fair. Consider it a mixture of a Battle Arena fight, and a Scenario Battle. Tell me before hand who should win, or decide if you want to lose.

The thread will be in the battle arena.

All fighting will be acted out by the people who signed up.

The scenario and winner may be scripted, or one person may decide later when they want to lose.

The battle is between 'clones', so it wont effect your character if you win or lose, live or die. Even if you die, you can battle again later.

Your characters can be different if you choose, this future doesn't have a good grip on our period of their history.
