Earlier this week Rockstar Games announced that the next installment in the wildly popular and controversial (funny how those two go together) Grand Theft Auto series will ship this October exclusively for PlayStation 2. And, yes, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas can be pre-ordered right now at EBgames.com.
The cosmic groan you may have heard Monday evening was the sound of video game publishers rearranging their release schedules so as not to coincide with the release of the new GTA. The reason? The odds are that if you have a PlayStation 2, you’re more likely to have a copy of GTA than not. And if you’ve played GTA3 or Vice City, you’re probably saving your pennies for October. In plain English, this one will be a monster. Avoid the rush and pre-order your copy today.
