Welcome to Kiyomi's PO Petshop! Here you can purchase or adult your next best friend. We offer a wide selection of pets, from the usual to the exotic. All of our animals are guaranteed healtht and friendly.

INFORMATION:

When you purchase your new pet, unless you are adopting an older animal, it will be a baby. At it grows, you will be able to see the changes. See below for an example.


This is a baby. This is how your newly purchased pet will come.


This is a juvenile. This is basically a "teenage" animal.


This is an adult. An adult is fully grown and physically mature.


We also offer all of the needed equipment and food for your new companion.

We currently have the following pets for sale.

This is a Beagle puppy. She is 8 weeks old, is current on shots, and is AKC registered. $550

This is a Persian kitten of the red colour. He is 8 weeks old, is current on shots, and is CFA registered. This affectionate breed is known for its talkative nature. $400

This is an African grey parrot baby. He is handraised. He may look a bit silly now, but once he gets his full plumage he will be a lovely bird. One of the best species for learning to talk. $975

This is Dutch rabbit baby of the blue colour. He will mature to around 5 pounds. This breed is known for having good-tempered males. $35

This is a male baby green iguana. Iguanas grow to be several feet in length, and they need a balanced diet of vegetables. $30

Yes, we just contacted a good ferret breeder and will be getting some in within the week.

"Kiyomi, I need a pet that can be more self reliant, but also quite affectionate. It needs to be hearty for travel, and survive on it's own if need be. What would you reccomend?"

Rabbits are pretty hardy as long as they get their food and water each day (which all animals need). They do not require being handled every day, though they enjoy it if they are handled a lot at a young age. All of our rabbits are handled frequently from the day of birth, so they are very tame and enjoy attention. Rabbits travel well if given water and some hay, plus their normal food at feeding time. As for surviving on its own, I am afraid you will have to be a bit more clear. No domesticated animal should be left to its own defenses. Large monitor lizards can survive well if left in the backyard with the right setup and some food tossed out here and there, but they are not very affectionate.

OOC: Hey everyone, just a note. To purchase a pet, just ask about one of the ones we have available. I will then start the sales transaction. When you purchas a pet, you get the picture of the pet to put in your siggy (if you want), and it will read "My pet ______ came from Kiyomi's Petshop" with the pet's name filled in. I am keeping a record of who has what pet, and when you have had your pet long enough for it to mature some, you will get the juvenile picture. Once it matures more, you will get the adult picture. Once the website is up, every one who purchases a pet will get a page with a profile of them and their pet.
