i think japan has a thing for eating shark-fin soup. the shitty part is that i've heard that they cut the shark's fins off then just throw its torso back in to bleed to death and suffocate

Yup. It's true. Most fishing companies that work in Shark catching reel the shark in, de-fin it, and throw it back.

Yes... but... I don't think they eat the whales... they eat sharks... but I'm not so sure about whales. They use the blubber for sure... and the stomach contents(Whale barf) is worth it's weight in gold... It's called Amber gris... they use it in nearly all perfumes and several kinds of main stream make ups. Yes... everytime you put on that cologne or perfume... you're spraying whale vomit onto you. Sick, I know... but whales don't vomit a lot... So if you see a whale up chuck... get a bucket... you might not like that smell... but that's the smell of money.

Whales bring nothing but pain and suffering to all around them. Think Sharks are evil? Ha they are nothing compared to the evilness of whales. Think about it. Free Willy, Orca and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Three of the worst movies ever and what was the theme of all three....WHALES!!!!! I swear to goodness they are evil and for that reason they must be stopped. I say let Japan hunt down the vile beasts before they make any more awful Whale topic movies or animated shorts. Do we really need another movie about a whale trying to get his freedom and then have the theme song done by Michael Jackson? I say no! Do we need another movie about a whale out for revenge for his mate who was harmed by a fisherman? I say no! Do we need to see another movie about having to go back in time to get whales so they can save the future? You know what...this has to be the worst one so I am not even going to say it. Then you have all the really bad “Oh look they are from the future ,isn’t it funny how they think things in the past are weird” moments. Well guess what it isn’t. Besides wouldn’t spinning around the world that fast cause all the people to be hurled into space anyways. Ummmm....this might have been a long way around of saying this but yes Japan hunting season is open. Kill the whales....before they come for your children.
