Miniopia Bar and Dance

Mirai stands at the near top of the ladder, making a few minor adjustments on the sign that hangs over a set of glass double-doors. After finishing the final connections, he climbs down the ladder to take a look at the scene and see if it pleases him.

The two-story bricked building offsets the wooded areas surrounding it. Spotlights on the roof sit freely, waiting to be sprung to life for the opening gala. Neon lights hang in wait around the blacked-out windows on both floors. The sign jetting out from the building over the canopy for the entrance faintly reads,

"Miniopia Bar and Dance"

The glass doors stand open, causing incoherent music to seep out. Blue velvet ropes hang from metal posts, creating a path along the concrete walkway towards the street. Mirai stands at the beginning of the walkway, surveying all before him, and nods in approval.

"Yeah," he speaks quietly to himself. "This will do just nicely." He looks down at his hands, his eyes going over his fingers. "I just hope I still have the juice in me."

"Naaya Naaaayaa NAAAYYYAAA!!" Bekuki appered out of litterly nowhere and landed on Mirai. "Wheeee!" She giggled and looked down at Mirai. "Hi!"

Mirai looks up at his visitor with a smile. "Hello again, Bekuki-chan. You always have a way with entrances, don't you?"

He looks back at the club, letting out a sigh of relief. "So, what do you think of it?"

Zzyxx shows up in street clothes and says, "Ok, when was that dance?"

She smiles and hugs Mirai. "It looks great! I'm sure all your hard work will pay off! See? There's someone now!"

Zzyxx looks around, "It's nice, so when can i start dancing?" Zzyxx busts a little bit of a move, "hehehe, couldn't help myslef..."

A loud laugh comes from the corner, a antlered woman, bent over, snickering. She coughs and straightens, suppressing giggles at Z's "move." Nari's wearing a shirt that looks like a cross across her chest, and tight, flexible black leather pants that reflected a good bit of light. She lightly strolls over, admiring the new building. Akanari nods her antlers at those present. Dance...music...

Mirai welcomes each new person with a warm smile and a pleasant handshake. "I'm glad you all have shown up. We're getting really close to our grand opening. We still have some technical things to take care of, but while we're waiting, let me ask all of you..."

He turns around and stares back at his creation, almost bewildered. I've seen it so many times before, but to know it actually exists now... wow...

Mirai swivels again, facing his newly-found entourage. "What kinds of music would you want us to play here? We normally have a blend of Eurobeat, Trance and Indie, but what would please your ears?"

*striding in* I generally like some good Irish punk rock, meself. Nothing like flute, fiddle, and electric bass to get a crowd going, right? *grinning hugely*

"What about J-Rock, or J-pop? They usully have some really good dance tunes!" She nodded and clung to Mirai happily.
