Okay so this past weekend was Kunicon's first Atlanta con. All in all it was pretty good though admitiedly there were some schedule and organization problems. A lot of it had to due with the lack of staffers but that it was the first year. Anyone who has ever voluntered at a con knows that the staff is responsible for the success of the event. I think Kunicon has a lot of potential should they decide to come back to Atlanta.
The best thing by far was the Panels and the Guests. Oh and so apparently Greg Ayres on top of being a voice actor is also a DJ!
The gaming rooms had an okay variety of multiplayer and hey there is was always Halo and plenty of it. In the online cafe the big hits were WoW and Counter Strike so all of us WoW junkies got to check on our auctions and stuff. |

No, the furry con is FWA, Furry Weekend Atlanta which was back in Feb. That has been around but I don't know how many years. Sadly I did not get to go but I heard good things from friends who did. And apparently the costuming panels were awesome T_T.
Kunicon is like a con chain sort of. There was one in St. Louis and the next Kunicon this year is in Denver. |

KuniCon was fun. I got my badge signed by Chris Patton and the Full Metal Panic manga that K-Chan gave me. -Hugs K-Chan- I love my fangirl ^^ I also got Greg Ayers to sign some manga for me and I also got Tiffany Grant to sign manga too.
The best thing was, indeed, the panels and guests. They ARE coming back next year because they had a good turn out on Saturday. Can't wait to see who the guests are! Can you? Oh yeah. 98 DAYS TIL AWA! |
