OOOO I would love to go
Yeah I may see if I can get the anthropology club to fund a trip to see this. Since I am the treasurer I think my chances may be pretty decent lol
I love Egyptology though; Egypt is high on the list of places I must visit at least once before I die
Edit: found the list of stops

Egypt is awesome! ^^ I’d love to see the pyramids and the Mortuary Temple, Queen Hatshepsut built ^^ and a lot of the other places there (although I’d probably die from the heat) .
I've been told (but wont swear by it) that Tut was the only mummy (or was it just his sarcophagus?) that was actually in the valley of the Kings pyramids that you could see on tour. They supposedly put him back cause of the curse that is said to surround him. I believe its said that the curse was one of the reasons the last museum tour was cut short 30 years ago, but I don’t know if that’s true .
*Gasp!*

I am fairly positive that he is not the only mummy, though as far as I know to date his was the only undisturbed tomb to be found in the Valley of the Kings, that’s probably what you’re thinking off.
And though I can't say for sure I doubt the curse was the reason, as it’s not given any credibility by academics. And they are who would have access and authority to decide something like that. |
