my first fight (open combat, 1 on 1)

[Akiyama]

Akiyama walks slowly into the arena, as he lifts his feet, an imprint of fire is left, he looks around, and ina loud voice, "I, AKIYAMA, do here by chanlenge anyone with the desire for a fight." akiyama looks around, seeking a fighting partner. an invisible fire seems to drip off of his every limb, yet it doesnt harm him in any way, as he looks around, the fire seems to disapate, and altogether vanish, asave for the imprints his feet leave as he walks.

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx, who was watching from the shadows, was intreguied with this new commer. He lept over the young warrior's head and landed with his back to Akiyama.

"Akiyama, I am Zzyxx, last of the Frozenblade clan of Frost Elves. As the avatar of ice, i accept your challenge."

Zzyxx turned around slowly. His dustly blew back in the breeze. His clothes were tattered, and his spiked knee pad and his spiked shoulder pad shimmered in the sunlight. His eyes, which were closed before, opened to reveal irises of the coldest blue.

"I am winter, no passion, no mercy. I am honorable however. You issued the challege; you name the rules of engagement."

[Akiyama]

akiyama turns around, playing the name Zzyxx over his toung till he figures he got it right. he then looks himin the eyes, and fire meets ice. akiyama smiles. ima bit new to this, but for starters, so i have no idea what kind of rules there are. so lets stick with the basics, NO killing. no calling of any ice gods, and i wint cal the fire gods. make it even. you can sumen all the wepons you want, as long as they are not projectiles. same goes for me.
akiyama blinks, and for an instant, you see fire, then its gone. he smiles, any other rules you would like?
akiyama turns away, and walks a little further away, fire marking his foot steps, he turns, and faces his aponent, anything?

[Diablo]

Kain walks in and takes a seat on the bench. "Darn just missed him. Was hoping to show this hot streak real FIRE." The demon glances at the new comer and over to Zzyxx, "Hey Z, I guess mephisto is of no use other than that one Lycanthrope thing."

[Zzyxx]

Zzyxx grins up at Diablo.

"It seems we have an audience. Ok, no fire or ice, no projectiles, and no killing. simple enough. I have no other requests."

Zzyxx drew his frozen Katana and took a defensive stance similar to the vagrent style taught to him by Tobias.

"You may begin when ready."

OOC: Hey Akiyama, please put quotes around your spoken words... it would make it easier on me... ^_^

(ooc: oh.. oops, my bad, i can do that. ^_^)

akiyama lowers his glance at the katana. " verry nice, lets see what you can do." akiyama steps back, and his arms start to grow red, the scales apear, covering his arms, and his fingers seem to shorten, and giveway to evily hooked claws, his eyes have a glossy gleam of fire, and his breath seems to be hoter than normal. he steps back, and prepares himself for the fight.

OOC: In this arena hit points are irrelevent. It is completely set up in the honor system. If you think something hit you, it's up to you to acknowlege it. It's also up to decide how much it hurt you. Use the context to get a basic idea, but stats only matter in the PO Battle forum.

BIC: Zzyxx began to think to himself
ok, dragon form... how can i counter? Speed is going to be my greatest ally... I'll have to rely on counter attacking as well, direct assaults would mean nothing to that.
Zzyxx altered his stance to one that was more mobile. He intended to use every ounce of his elven agility to his advantage.
"Diablo, be so kind as to give us the cue to go."

[Akiyama]

akiyama chances a glance at diablo, and then imeadyatly looks at Zzyxx, "yes, good sir, please, start ower little match, if you please"

ooc: thanks, i wasnt shur how you gusy did this kind of stuff, and i wantted to be fair in my dealings. ^_^ so no worries, i understand how it is ^_^ thanks again

BIC: Diablo gave the cue to begin the fight and zzyxx lept into the air.

bic: akiyama follows Zzyxx with his eyes, and slowly begins to back up slowly, keeping distance.
