You ever gets bushed trying to find that extra hour in the day to get everything you need done, well, done?

Just when you think everything has finally gotten it's correct slot, someone comes by and throws one more thing on your pile.

Here at my work, we have data entry. (not 100% of the time - but there' a lot of it) And just when you get in the groove of filling out the certain areas in said database, someone comes and tells you "You need to populate these areas too"

GRAH! It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so monotonous and it wouldn't be so bad if we had the full staff alotted for it. But alas, I have to struggle to get one of our assistants to be able to help me due to someone else CONSTANTLY running him on other errands. The assistant is more than eager to help, just the other person thinks their items are more important. So time drags while you are doing this data entry. With stacks upon stacks of the paperwork are being piled on your desk.

I need an assistant. Hahaha.

See, your job has adopted the Government policy of if you can do what we have given you timely then of course if we add more to your workload you'll be able to handle that too. Unfortunately you're in the private sector so you can't slack off and expect your employer to compensate for you. See in government if you do what they give you and get it done TIMELY NOT ON TIME. Then they say they can't give you more work cause yer behind already. In the private sector if you can't handle what they give ya you get fired...Soo my advice is kill yer supervisor and when the new one comes in and asks you what you normally do LIE YOUR BUTT-CHEEKS OFF!

The camels back has been broken. The final nail is in the coffin.

And there isn't any amount of filter in my brain that can make me come off civil and without expletives about what has just happened at my work.

Have you ever been so angry it makes you feel like you have a ball stuck at the top of your throat? So much that you are swallowing ever last bit of dignity and integrity you have NOT to rip someones head off or up and quit your job?

That's how I feel right now.

I want to rip someones arms off and beat them senselessly with them. But alas I must sit here and grin and take this BS that has landed itself upon me.

I have had it! And if it weren't for my bills and such that I have and need this paycheck to pay on I would be gone.

This is not to say I am not looking elsewhere, and honestly, if they'd pay, I would take flipping burgers over this big raging ball of stupidity I have had to deal with.

I'm over the backstabbing imbeciles that try and screw with things I create, I'm tired of the management who I have REPEATEDLY taken these issues to, with no constructive response, because they bowl over any time they wish due to the idiots who try and run the asylum.

It is so insulting to my intelligence that I want to scream. But I sit here, and I grin, and I want to get out of it.

So cross your fingers everyone. I just applied to a position with Cartoon Network. Some place I'd rather be anyway.
