Started off just a regular old week, we were pretty busy at work had a lot of stuff to pickup on monday. My partner delivery guy calls in says something about having to meet with his attorney's about some IRS stuff he is going through. Thats not a catastrophe, there was nothing going on on monday that I couldnt handle myself. I worked my ass off and didnt get a lunch but I got my shit done. He didnt show up but was supposed to be in the next day.

Teusday morning, he calls in again..... same stuff. Tuesday is no big deal, its a lot slower, I just have a shit tone of chairs to clean. He doesnt show up all day AGAIN, but he calls and informs us that he will be in on Wednesday, so I actually got a day off. Yay me, or so I thought

Wednesday and thursday went off without a hitch, we had this hex tent we had to set up in BFE, but we got our shit done..... Friday morning he doesnt show up, no phone call, no letter, no fuck you and die, no anything. I have a shit tone of delieveries, one that requires me to drive to south dallas, abotu 1hour 45minutes away, with a trailor full of shit. I get it done, dont complain, and get back to the shop about 5:30ish and figure out what has happen. My boss cancels his credit card, his cellphone and fires his ass 1 FUCKING WEEK BEFORE MY VACATION!!! Not her fault but apparently that wasnt the only thing he had been fucking up on. Apparently there were some strange charges on his credit card that couldnt be accounted for over the last month. I dont blame my boss, but I didnt understand how a grown fucking man with a wife and child could be so fucking irresponsible. But that isnt even the worst part of this rant. It turns out that since we are short handed and this coming weekend is busy as hell, I have to cancel my vacation. At this point I am fucking pissed off because I am going to miss AWA. I spend all that night trying to figure out if there is anyway I can still go and hardly get any sleep while I am at it.

Saturday morning he comes in, hand my boss his credit card, and cellphone, and says "I quit". Apparently he found another job and those 3 days he didnt show up were his oreintation........ he comes back to the back to get some of his things that were his I come loose. Moral of the story kids STEP BACK AND THINK HOW YOUR ACTIONS EFFECT OTHER PEOPLE.

I end up working 12 and 1/2 hours on saturday and another 6 on sunday because of that bastard. Luckily though, I was able to work with my boss and I am going to get off saturday so I can still make AWA. I will be flying in friday night and leaving sunday evening, instead of thurdsay night and monday evening. My vacation has been more than cut in half but at least I am still going to be able to come. Thanks to Diajaga, he is going to come in on that Saturday and deliver for me, so I can have off.

What a sucky situation!! Well, at least you'll be able to come. Even though it'll only be for a little bit. We love ya anyways!

Actually doing this favor for Faye is a whole other bag of beans. Im volentarily going back to work for the same woman who fired me the day I foudn out my wife was pregnant - leaving me jobless with a mortage, wife, and child on the way. I was pretty depressed there for a stint. I gave everything I could when I was at work, I feel like I got my shit done, but she came up with silly things to write me up over until she finally fired me.

But Im not one to hold a grudge, I just find it funny she'd even let me come in and work for Faye, even if its just for a few hours that day.

Well regardless of the hardship you went through, your are in a much better position now. You have a better job, with better pay, benefits, and hours for the upcoming baby. Not that you getting fired wasnt total BS, but you are in a better place because of it. Besides now you get to spend the day fucking with Terry and everyone else.... whats she gonna do..... fire you??

So my boss comes back to the back to "talk" to me about some stuff. For all of you that dont know about my work, talk= bitching me the fuck out for being a little sluggish when she has worked my ass off for the past 3 months and this is the first week we have been slow enough to where I could take it a little easy. I take it like a good little employee, because this job pays my bills and regardless of how much I hate it, I still need it.

Afterwards I ask her about an upcoming vacation I was taking for New Years. She had to look at the schedule to make sure that me being off wasnt going to interfere with any deliveries and such. She told my I could have the days off but the politly informed me that I have no vacation days left. For those of you that dont know, please read the beginning of this thread to find out about that situation that ties into this one. She then informed me that the money from the 2 vacation days she FUCKED me out of, was used to pay for my plane ticket that SHE wanted me to change. So not only did I miss 2 days of AWA because of the fuckin bullshit, but As a result to her firing someone I am getting fucked out of 2 more vacations days for new years. I should have known that her offering to pay for the plane ticket change was too good to be true,

EDIT: Just realized that the first post on this thread didnt explain much..... When she told me I had to cut my vacation for AWA short, she said would pay to alter my plane tickets, a total of 320 dollars less that 1 week before AWA. However she did not inform me that that 320 dollars would cause me to lose those 2 vacation days all together. If I had known this, I would have politly told her to go fuck herself.
