dont realy know where to put this, but its a musical so i thought here.
anyway....
THAT SHOW WAS UN-FRIGGIN-BELIVEABLE!
words cant even begin to discribe how increadably awsome it was! there are not words in the english language that can tell you how good it is. the costumes where increadably elaborate and colorfull, and the sets even more so! The entire thing was pulled of very very gracefuly, and the songs gave me goose bumps. If this ever comes near you, you have to go see it. |

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. Normally, I HATE musicals and I HATE theater. However, UP scored some free tickets, so I tagged along, and I was thoroughly impressed. This is definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. |

I have seen it on video before but never in person. I have always wanted to see it though. My senior year in highschool we did the Lion King on stage, probably one of my fondest memories of highschool. We took stuff from both the broadway musical and the movie. Ever since then I have wanted to see the musical in person. |

Lion King WAS a great production. Not one of my favorites show wise, but entertaining and great special effects that would give a teche nightmares for months. Disney's multi-million doller budget didn't hurt the production either. (yaaay for mammoth rocks that rise up from the middle of the stage floor!!)
I espically liked the African influences in the choreography and music elements.
And props to the Giraffe/stilt-walker guys! |
