Yup... and the Braves choke again.
The important stat in this one...
LOB...
Left on base.
The Braves left 35 men stranded on base. What the hell is that about. No clutch hitting AT ALL.
The 'Stros left 14 on base.
The Braves had PLENTY of oppertunities to win this game. Not to mention they were up 6-1 in the 8th.
I'm sick of the Braves. Next year... DON'T WIN THE DIVISION! Maybe you just need a break for one year.
1-14 is not a good stat!
14 division wins, 1 world series championship!

I would like to see the Braves moved to a different division, may the Central Division, I don't think they could win a division title...what does that tell you about the National League East?
I agree with Shino, what the hell was that leaving all those men on base?! I mean, around the 13th or 14th inning I know they loaded the bases again with only 1 out! I mean, come on!
What kills the Braves everytime is their Bullpen. When they go to their bullpen, the other team starts cheering....
I felt bad for Smoltz, he looked sooo wore out after that 2nd game, he is an excellent player and all, but man did they use him a lot this season or what? I know there was more than one game that he pitched the entire game so that they wouldn't have to go to their bullpen. |
