Mushu is dying. Why are you upset over a pet insect? Well, I raised him from a baby - he's like my child in an odd way. I'm really upset.

Me and Tobs both know what you're feeling. Our pet ferret, Hobbes, isn't doing too well right now either. It's a sad sad thing because you love and care for these little guys so much, and you get so attached.

Darn and stuff... since I am intoxicated, these words are not entirely my own, but I honestly think that when you lose a pet, you feel as if you lose a piece of yourself. You spent loving time and commitment into raising them and you feel as if they embody a part of yourself. I feel for you as I have recently had to let a pet cat go due to it being slightly more than psychopathic. I loved it to death, but even so... there's not much to it. When the time comes, you have to be strong and let them go.

I've lost several pets, 2 iguanas, 1 gecko and a balled python. Sad

it hurts alot to loose things you've rasied yourself. to me it's like loosing a bestfriend. I'm sad for yah yunni. -hugs- though I know no pet can ever replace the one you've lost. There will be other animals in your life.

This is a little bit on the late side, but as you know, i recently lost my Chinchilla, it doesnt matter wether your pets a ball of fur, an insect, or a bit of dust (my niece had a pet bit of dust when she was 2, she cried when it went up the hoover) losing a pet is a really hard thing as they're family and a friend in one cuddly/friendly/something else package. If I were there in person, I'd give you a big hug, but dont go and rush out and get a new pet, I made that mistake when we decided to get Rachael a Chinchilla, I dont get him out as often as I should so he's not all that friendly, but we're moving the bedrooms over soon and hes going to be in our bedroom rather than rachaels so I can tame him.
