Advice??

I need lots of advice!

I need to move out of my house asap. My little sister, with whom I share a room with, is driving me Freakin CRazy!! I can't stand her and her bratty self!!! My dad can be a real tool some times, and everything is driving me up a freakin wall!!
I don't have a job right now, but I tutor privately, substitute, and babysit occasionally, so basically I don't have a lot of money. Next weekend I'm graduating with my masters in teaching, and I'll be getting a job in Sept. I plan on working as a waitress at a high class restaurant, so I'll be earning more money.
BUT I desperately need to move out. Any suggestions?? A lot of my friends either don't live around me, or still live with their parents. What should I do? I know a lot of you may be thinking that I should just stick it out and save cash so I can find a decent place, but you don't understand it sucks living here!!!

Advice would be much appriciated.

I totally understand crappy living environments. And I really wish I could tell you what you want to hear, but sticking it out and saving your money is the best solution. I don't know how cheap apartments are where you live but they almost always want you to have a steady job. Unfortunately without one of those you're pretty much stuck. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But look on the bright side...

Scope out prices for your own living places once you've got an income stream. Is the job in Sept. going to be in the same area, so that if you do move, you won't be stuck in one place while your job is somewhere else?

Even then, you may find that you'll have to tough it out for the summer just to get enough on security deposit and rent for the Sept. job.

UP lives in New York, guys. Everything is crazily expensive. >_< Your best bet would be to stick it out. I know you said that's not what you want to hear, but what other choice do you have? I'm sure you'll be able to save up something decent come September when you have that job...though, you could always look into a summer job, and see if you can't find one that will pay enough to get you apartment space. *shrug*

Save more money. Youd be surprised at how much money you spend if you write everythign down. Map out a budget, a real on paper budget not "Ill only spend 60$ this week" budget, and you'd be surprised at how much futher you can make your buck go, and I mean way father.

It won't help you find a place to move out to, but it'll get you in a better financial position when you do find a spot. Besides, living with your folks is FREE! You have a great respect for free when you pay a mortgage or worse, a lease. I imagine in yoru area your looking at...what...a grand a month? Thats sick ><

Sleep at home and do everythign else out. Graillick did that here for like 6 months.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are misserable. Just know that it will get better with time. I speak from experience you know. I had the same thing kind of only it was with inlaws, they made me so stressed and tense that i would break out in hives, no joke, ask Kudasai, it was his family! But now we are doing much better, well sort of. Now instead of living with parents from one side or the other, my mom and step dad live with us! Let me tell you, you would think that since it's our place things would be different but it's pretty much the same.

Sorry about the rant. But just try to take it easy and maybe find a place to hang out and things will go by faster for you hun. We all love ya and are here when you need us.

So far all those nice people that have come before me have said most all that I could think of, but I do agree with Daijaga. live out crash at home. also think about tring to arrange a single night out of the week to stay with a friend and relax. it doesnt have to be the same friend just try to do it once a week. that s what i do now that Im living back at home and it does wonders for the stress.
