I feel I've been misunderstood and I have to clarify a few things. I hope you'll see what I meant to say.

When I said 'impasse' I was referring to the extremist's point of view; the thing that spurs drastic actions. I was not referring to your stance at all. I actually agree with you, K. I don't see that we're on different sides of this arguement and I don't like that these things happen either. My goal in the points I brought up was to show the inner workings of that mindset to hopefully spur some compassion for these individuals, as blind and damaging as they may be. If you don't agree with this approach, this is where our impasse truly lies.

Ok, you and I are split here. I believe that if humans want to ultimately know what a drug will do to a human then they should find a human to test them on. Something done of the subject's own volition.

I have no idea what this is about but I am going to guess on the animal one. Animal testing right?
My thought to that is we should use the guys on Death Row for that stuff. They are gonna die one way or another. Most are just rotting in jail using up tax dollars to stay alive. Why not put them to good use. If we are going to feed them then why not use them. Hey that's just me. |

That's pretty cold Akila. I can see where you're coming from though.
Kugyou and Shadokastur, you guys are pretty much saying the same thing. You're both against eco-terrorism, and forced point of view. What you disagree on is whether animals are sentient or just fodder waiting for our forks and knives. However, even though your views differ, you still agree that your opinions are your own and not to be imposed on others. You both choose to respect the other's belief.
