So, i have a very cute coworker, and im compleatly head over heels for her. we both work at a movie theater, so we previewd a movie one night last week, and we sat next to eachother, she ended up laying her head down on me and we stayed that way for the movie. so the next day i asked her if she wanted to go see another one monday (today), and she said sure, i told her to pick the time and movie and id be there. we got finshed a few minutes ago, and i had my arm around her the entire movie, but it wasnt as close as the first night. after we got out i asked her if this ment we were dating.... she kinda hesitated, and didnt say anything, so i said, "not yet?" and she said, not yet.... i curse myself for that.... but i have compleatly fallen for this girl and am a bit out of my mind right now, so im stressing!! what does it mean! is she considering me? or is that the polite way of saying "get away from me ya fat creep"... im gonna pass out from anxiety........

hehe...taking the direct approach, are we?
My friend said it best: "She considers a date anything where the guy and girl do something together, and have fun doing it in their company."
I think you shoudl relax senor, take a spell, and don't let it kill ya. Ask her to do something else...hang out somewhere and grab a bite to eat.
Try to steer away from the direct questioning...it kind of throws people into critical situations. Just imagine if a girl and yourself are walking along together, and you both hold hands, and she goes "So...this means we're getting married?"
It's extreme...and everyone thinks on that level when it comes to these issues...and if they don't, god bless em. |

yeah, i guess it would freak me out too. but, normaly im a very laid back, easygoing kinda guy and she.... make me want to runaround in circles jump up and down, laugh cry and screem at the same time.... its a horrible, awful, wonderful, happy feeling......

That is the best definition I've ever heard!
Here's the thing. She already knows that you have feelings for her and she's a little aprehensive about moving too fast. She obviously has at least a little bit of feelings for you or else she wouldn't have gotten that close to you twice. I think you should ask her to go do something else and explain to her that you do like her and would very much like to spend time with her. Tell her you understand if she want's to move slow and it's cool with you. I know it sounds corny but you'd be suprised at how well the truth can work! She seems very sweet and a little shy. With shy people it's always best to be honest.

Surprisingly, I'm going through a similar issue, but I'm in the position of the girl - for some people, the word "date" has significant implications, and they want to be sure that the person they call a "date" meets those implications - more often than not, it means forseeing long-term commitment and mututal feelings of love. If she doesn't have those things, then she's not going to call it dating - and if you start insisting, it causes tension. Trust me on this one.
So, as people before have said, cool your jets, enjoy her company, be a good friend. If she wants to go farther or start calling it a date, she'll ask. Don't push it on her. |

I tend to not date people I work with... But anyways it'll turn out one of two ways. You can't change which way it will go becuase your not the girl, but leave it to fate... if it was meant it'll happen. |

As a girl, it's nice when things are fun and relaxed. My best relationships have always been with a guy I was friends with for a short period. But don't let the friends relationship go to the point of no return, ask Tobs about that,  (love ya tobs)

Ya...she's right...if you become too good of friends, that'll kill everything. Probably the number one reason why i had my first girlfriend was because myself and her were friends for a short period, and then one of us immediately kicked it off (When i think about it, i think it was me...though she WOULD come into my workplace for the reason of seeing me there.) |
