Didn't know where else to post this, but here are some extremely interesting things one can find while reading your handy dictionary, or at least the three volume set we have at our house

X-man, pl. x-men : a postal service employee who checks a railway car in mail service for possible lost or mislaid mail.

XN : abbr. ex new

xnty : Christianity

xanthoderm : a person with a yellow skin; esp. : one belonging to a race characterized by yellow skin.

xanthic : adj. of, relating to, or tending toward a yellow color

xiphoid : 1. shaped like a sword 2. of, relating to, or constituting the xiphisternum

The Xanth thing can also be found in Xanthophil-- a yellow coloured pigment in plants. ^_^

Xiphoid...if you ever look at the human skeletal system, you can see at the very bottom of the sternum the "Xiphoid process" It's kindof swordshaped, and you learn in any sort of rescue classes that if you break it, you can easily kill the person you're trying to save.
