I think stress has gotten the better of me this holiday. I kinda turned into a PO lurker since the party (which was awesome!)
I guess the mad explosion of holiday cheer takes a lot outta me to where I go kinda depressed. It wasn't quite as bad this year but I guess it was just more spread out.
Does anybody else get those holiday dulls?
At least this year I got to stay pretty centralized. The furthest I had to venture was out to the PO party. |

Yeah me too. I end up getting realllly depressed right after the holidays. The it's anger and irritability and eventually it let's up and I have a great time soon after. Strange. |

I'm with you Fawkes. I have only just recently shaken off the super holiday crankiness. It got bad this year. Too tired. Too meh. Holidays are hard when you miss folks in your life that used to make them so worth while. It's been 4 years for me now and I still can't seem to shake it. 
But buck up! Try to enjoy some of the warmer weather we've had been having (and the sunshine at least) get those seratonin levels rocking! |

Cranky, yeah. Then depressed. Happy while I'm with people and having a blast, but somehow I still get into bad funks about things. It's really weird. |

I get severely depressed every year. I miss my friends. I miss my family. I cant afford to get those that I love things that show them I love them...cant even afford to get the things that I want to even make things. Makes me a very sad panda. I know that everyone understands, and everyone knows that I love them, but I just feel shitty I cant give people things, who are giving me things, and I just get into a major funk that usually lasts me a while because right after the holidays I got my best friends bday, my moms bday and my grandma's bday one after the other. I cry a lot this time of year |

I feel the same there Sciler, I feel REAL bad because my mum turned 50 thisyear and I've not had enough money to get together to buy her something, we couldnt attend her party either as we couldnt get someone to look after the dogs for the weekend while we were there. And to top it off, both my mum ad her partner and before that my dad and step mum came down to see us and drop Christmas presents from my side of the family off.
Hell, two of my aunts sent Rachael gifts and theyve never even met her! |
