These are some cool/weird little "guys" that you're supposed to customize anyway you see fit.
I just bought one today and am going to start the process of designing and eventually painting it. I'll probably come post various stages of the process, but I'll be documenting the whole thing at my myspace. Since there are so many artists here, I thought I'd share my new excitement. |

Actually, I've been thinking about what would make nice custom PO figures for quite some time now. My personal pick would be the japanese Rockman.exe (Megaman Battle Network) action figures.

The pictures are the greatest, but you can see that they have very similar proportions. They have spectacular articulation. There are joints in the ankles, knees, legs, waist, shoulders, elbows, and two in the neck (ball joint for the head, and another for the neck itself.) The figures are made out of soft pvc plastic similar to Gundam figures. Various parts are also modular. The forearms and hands both detach to replace with alternate ones. The same goes for the head. The lower legs come off in the same manner as the arms despite not having any alternate parts. All in all, they're very simple to take apart for extensive customizing.
I got one of these a couple years ago and intend to turn it into a custom Gryphman action figure as soon as I can get all of the necessary equipment. |

Those look like interesting possibilities. Of course, I'd need some paint and design skills to actually get any use out of them, but they still look good. |
