These are actually kinda fun for me now since I'm in a nicer job...to where they are funny. My boss, who has never met me in person and works on the West coast in Redmond, WA gets to decide how well I'ver performed for the year and how I fit the mold of our company values...just stop me when I put you to sleep

Its all this corporate crapoo that really doesn't end up meaning anything at all in the end. I've done nothing wrong, done everything I was supposed to, and even a few extra. I'm expecting apretty neutral review. But its stillapain to have to sit through it all.

Oh, I forgot to mention the funny part about the boss and his location...I'm in Atlanta LoL with no plans to meet him...never even seen a picture.

At least a perk is that he's already told me that they are going to have to give me another nice raise this year.They have to to keep my pay up to par with the others. I think its the only thing that was good in my old job. The old boss who originally hired me into the company set me at a low base salary. Now I'm in a better position where everyone gets paid more so they have to work to get me at a comparable level SQUEE to that!

We'll see how it all goes tomorrow!

OK! My evaluation is complete and I am happy to report that I actually got a preety good review...i don't think it even had anything negative on it...just a bunch of corporate gobblediguck that says I need to be more flexible with my account managers...*sure

*I don't tend to handle change very well when an account manager proceeds on a project like nothing is wrong and then pulls a "We're not done yet" the day of production.

I'm a little irked over the fact that my boss kinda turned my one bad account experience against me. In our conversation he alluded to the fact that he used that one project as part of that handling change thing and to be more accomodating. Nothing I can say or do to change that.
He should at least remember what went on there. I certainly can't expect to be all "How can i serve you" to an account team who keeps me out of the loop on things for 2 weeks then assigns me to crank out something by the end of the day. Where I'm left on the spot and clueless to what's going on. They did this at least 3 times, and it wasn't stuff I could help with anyway.

But overall, it went well. They changed the rating system to where it is no longer numeric...makes for a little nicer way to read things. My boss is pleased with me and my work so that's really all that counts.
