All Tsunami Bomb songs rock. Back on topic, if EMO describes someone who is emotionally depressed, then there really aren't that many real EMO bands. I can only think of one, Simple Plan. While they do play well and their tunes are catchy, almost every song is about hating the world and being upset that nothing is going right. Check out their lyrics and you'll see what I mean. http://www.simpleplan.com/music.php
I don't think Fallout Boy can really be called emo. I have two albums, I think they have more, but their songs seem more focused on bitter hatred of one particular person. Some of the lyrics only take a little bit of imagination/interpretation to see where they're going.
"You should thank your lucky stars that everything I wish for will never come true."
"Spin me like a locket around your throat. And when you die I'll watch you choke. You look so good in blue."
Not sure about the entirety of the second one. My point is that in general, Fallout Boy seems less and a little more . What do you think? |

Dashboard Confessional + Jimmy Eat World = Emo
Fall Out Boy + Simple Plan = Pop 'Punk'
MCR and P!ATD are both diabolical in their own right.
Listen to the Abominable Iron Sloth.

Emo music is when a band allures you with an upbeat feel and speed; recently with a lot of DUN DUN DUN happenin'. Only these DUN DUN only occur when there's no singing... When that kicks in it's like waiiiiii; and the song takes a turn for the worse. normally waiii-ing consists of romanticly inclined complaints. Making you feel crappy for listening.
To be safe only listen to music that scraps the waii and replaces it with EIIIGH and BREE BREE BREE and all DUN DUN DUN |
