cant realy sleep naked... share a room with my bro, but I sleep in as little as possible, with lots of comforters and blankets |
How in the hell do you manage to sleep in that heat with comforters on?! I remember my sophomore year in college...they would crank the heat WAY up during the winter to the point where my window was almost always open...in January...in New York. Finally a friend of mine showed me how to open up and turn my radiator off, and that basically saved my life come spring time, when the heat was still cranked up.
Junior year we had an air conditioner in our room, which we ran almost non-stop during the entire year, including the winter. |

...You have amused me. There are always exceptions, especially in this place. :]
But back to sleeping naked...
I'm sort of surprised how many people actually do sleep naked. I was raised in a pajama-only environment (except in Spain, the middle floor of our old, old house didn't have air-conditioning so in summers we'd have no choice but to either sleep on the terrace (porch) or sleep naked).
Anywho, I'm glad. What do you (plural) think of the health benefits of sleeping naked? |

Windows open (with blinds closed) at this time of year is the only way I can keep it cold enough to reliably keep from sleepwalking. In the summer, I practically HAVE to sleep naked with a few fans for cooling to get a decent amount of sleep at all. |
Ohkay then...for future reference, the sunroom DOES have a ceiling fan and working windows. Just close the door first to keep my kitties from getting out, I don't think I have screens...or do I? (never really payed attention b4). But I think you know its not a wise choice to sleepwalk in our house, you might get a blind streak...and not from me ...I on the other hand plan accordingly for guests. |

I think you may have misunderstood me, when its 95 out, ill usualy just have one comferter on, or a few blankets, what I ment was i like it to be about 85-90 under all my blankets, not I like to sleep with multiple comforters on in the 90 degree weather.
Dont know why, just a quirk of mine
any way, back to topic

preaty sure its been said before, but I dont think there are any heath benefits to sleeping naked, more its heathy to sleep the way you are comfortable. |

Usually if I sleepwalk, I'm too out of it to operate doors, so I just pace around a room. (I'm harmless, really!) The only problem I have with sleepwalking is that it doesn't help my body rest at all, so I end up more groggy when I do actually wake up. |

Sleeping naked...dunno...i'd have to try it one day. Can't say i'd like it first time around. I've been a jammies/shirt and shorts guy for a while.
I know when its hot, i go down to the boxers, but i still wear a tshirt.
As far as health issues go, im not sure how to interpret it. I would say that if you get a more restful sleep, it techincally IS healthier for you.
But then again, however you find it to be more restful, that would be the healthier choice for you.
And think about living in connecticut during the winter (or further up north for that matter) and not wearing clothes? THe only time I would accept that idea is if i had the money to pay for oil since i would be using it all year, or if there was a personal warming device in my bed...namely a woman.
*explodes* (Despite numerous explosions, Tobias still gets cold at night...le sigh.) |

I've always slept in the nude, since I was a little girl. Except when I shared a room with K-chan, she kinda preferred I wore something. Now anything more than panties bothers me. |

Ok - I tried sleeping with clothes on the other night. While I felt constricted and enclosed whilse getting to sleep, I woke up very warm...but very tied up. I move around a lot in my sleep, so the clothes thing didnt pan out for me.
Ok, so...some of you jammie people gotta get nekkid. For reacsearch purposes...

I've been on a business trip all this week. I tried full, and adult, pajamas the first night.
I couldn't sleep, too hot. The pants came off at about 3 am.
Last night, the thermostat got lowered and I tried to sleep in a t-shirt.
I still woke up, but was a little better
Tonight, I'm still debating.but can't wait to be home, nekid in my own bed! Lol |
