I will preface this with saying that there will be NO political discussion/debate from this...just a simple question...feel free to explain the "why" just keep it simple and neutral.
What is your political party?
For me, I grew up with Republican parents in a Republican neighborhood.
But now as an adult, I tend to be party-neutral and look at the various candidates on a more objective level and use their party affiliation as a last piece which doesn't really factor in very much. I'm more interested in who they are and what they have done. |

I dont have a party. I try to listen to each person, and base any votes on that, similar to you, on who they are and what they do/have done.
I'm not really a fan of politics at all. It's all a bunch of HS drama in my opinion =P |

Technically I'm an "Independant" Given that the political person I agree with most is an Independant (Yay for Jesse "The Body" Ventura!) But really, I voted Libertarian in the last election and agree with a lot of Libertarian views, so most often I call myself Libertarian.
I don't, however, believe in voting party-line. One must collect all the facts about the candidate and make an informed decision regardless of their party. |

i generally am republican and was a member of the young republicans of America but given how wish washy the recent choices have been, i am now just voting for the most conservative choice i can find.  |

I'm terribly uninformed about politics and so I havn't voted yet because if I vote I want to be informed on everyone.
the factors that concern me most would probably be abortion and gay rights...as opposed to things like taxes...

Independent.
Can't deal with extreme left or right wings.
I fall right in the middle. Come to find out recently I'm more Libertarian.
However, I agree with Sciler that politics is pretty retarded most of the time. There's too much "Don't vote for this guy b/c ..." BS and not enough "I plan on doing this ..." stuff. |
