Ok I need some understand, I had a personal loan taken out of my bank, which I used to get my computer, now they are saying they are going to turn it over to the attorneys office. I don't really understand what that means. Can anyone help me. Does this mean I will be arrested? I only owe 580 on it now.
So it is not that big. But I still need help understand what it means when they
say they will turn in over to he attorneys office.

I need help understanding the situation.

Have you been paying the loan back on time?

The only reason I could think that they may have issues is if you are behind on payments or something?

Have you asked them, what they mean and why they are going to do that? They could probably answer that a lot better than anyone here could?

I started off making the payments on time, when I got the loan, but after I lost my job, I didn't have the money for awhile, so my payments are behind. But I only owe 580$ dallers on it now. That is all that remains to be payed off. I called them to let them know that I do intend on paying it off, but I am not sure as to when because I am doing freelance work.

It's just got me under pressure right now, and I'm worried because I have no idea what they can do at the attorneys office. I don't know if you can be arrested for such a small payment amount. :/

Unfortunately saying that you intend to pay them back but you're not sure when doesn't really cut it with financial institutions. I doubt that they would arrest you for something like that...I would assume they would do something to somehow charge you more money. And your credit will take a hit, which will make it harder for you to get loans in the future. After you lost your job, you should have contacted them and told them (which you may or may have done you didn't make it clear), as they may have been able to work something out to help you out. But again, I highly doubt that they'd arrest you for something like that.

It doesn't mean a whole lot..you're just going to get bugged by this attorney until you pay it off...and your credit is going to take a big hit.

I would physically go to your bank to explain your situation. It at least looks better and more believable. Ask them to help you work out a new payment schedule and spend all your time right now doing whatever you can to arn the money to pay it back.

Ah well in that case, phew... XD also I just lined up a job for house cleaning in july, so I will beable to payoff the rest. Unfortunately the bank is closed now lol, so I can't contact them and let them know. "But there's always tomorrow, it's only a day.... a...way..................!!!!!!!!" XD sory just had to do it.

But I really don't think I will want anymore loans later, so me not being able to get one, OK!

I believe the correct term from your bank is that you are being sued for the $580 you still owe them...

Yeah banks are for the most part, cold an calculating when it comes to those that borrow money from them. Having dealt with loans before, you do not want to mess with them or underestimate what they will do.
