Ever since having my job, I've been doing my part in society. 
-Checked all the keyboards to make sure they were in French. Believe it or not, we had a CHINESE person coming from the ministry of language to tell us to put our stuff in French. 
-Replaced a smoking terminal (OH SHI-)
-Blew the dust off a terminal. I ran the blower on it for 2 minutes straight and there STILL was dust coming out!
-Played bowling with the factory gang. Two guys eventually gave up and threw one ball each together in the same lane... and MISSED!
-Introduced a coworker to /b/.
-...and Digg.
-...and The Alphabet of Manliness.
-...and Bash.org.
-...and Computer School Snippets!
-Learned the names of everyone in the office. Had to do that eventually if I wanted to find every computer in the place.
-Stared at beautiful asses. 
-Got my first paycheck!
-Fixed bugs in a program using a language the boss had invented and with which I had never worked before. It was pretty self-explanatory in retrospect.
-Realized that we are certified ISO -1.
-Blew up my USB key.
-Bought a new USB key. Sandisk Cruzer Micro. Plug retracts into the key, which makes it awesome by definition.
-Told coworker about my insane bouts of kickass at Battlefield 2142.
-Rode in a Dodge SRT-4 Stage 1 and listened to the misfire system for 15 minutes.
-Cleaned bird shit off my car. EVERY DAY. 
-Conquered everyone with my radio announcer voice and my judo grip on the English language.
-Learned that the equipment is so well-maintained that a drill bit made to cut through 1000 ft of marble in a lifetime retired after... 4000 ft of loyal services.
-Found out my computer was the most powerful one in the office, after the server.
-Discovered the server's insane MacGuyver setup. Imagine a triple stack of braces and fans made to hold a total of ten 10,000+ RPM SCSI hard drives RAIDed in various configurations. You can touch the drives while they're running and they are barely above room temperature.
-Told the joke about the person who put "penis" as his password. Somehow, both coworkers had never heard this one.
-Answered the phone in place of coworker while he wasn't there and giggled as everyone who called and ended up on me paused for a moment in sheer confusion.
