Well, unfortunatly the author of the wheel of time series passed away A few days ago.

He had been fighting for a while and it finaly caught up with him.

Sad! T_T But, from what I hear he's got someone finishing up the series for him based on the notes he's written and stuff. ..and I haven't really read anything since before Crossroads came out anyhow.  |

Sorry. It is really sad that he died. I'm just also depressed that he couldn't finish the series...it won't be the same at all. I really loved his writing. |

Actually, he left behind sufficient notes that most likely they will be able to release the final book postmortem.

But really, sad, and since I hadn't been keeping tabs on his health, this was a surprise to me. |

The WoT was the best series I ever read,I feared this was going to happen, but I always hoped he would hold out until he finished. Even though it will be finished for him, I doubt it will be the same

Well, there's really no way of knowing now how the last book WOULD have turned out. All we can do is just accept the next novel as the end of the Wheel of Time.
Although I just know everyone will say it won't be as good as Jordan could have done, even if it is the best book ever written. |
