Seriously. Like almost $20 - $25 bucks worth.
Pat has a different way of doing it than I do but our ways work together. In Pat's way, you do the edges and bottom first so you have something to build on and cut out EVERYTHING you can find. My way is to start from the top and overlap where necessary. When the whole top is filled we will either use what's called Workable Fixatif by Krylon or Modge Podge it. Modge Podge is a really thin glue that fills in gaps and smooths out the surface. We also have a clipboard for a cutting surface and a piece of plexi-glass to protect the top.
I'm currently working on an adult-themed one with completely ridiculous quotes that I've taken out of National Geographic, parenting magazines and auto part catalogues.
This is addictive and fun!
