Tommeeville got assaulted by a pure-bred n00b a few days ago. He posted repeated threads, pointless polls and constantly spoke iN tHiS kInD oF mAnNeR, wHiCh WaS really annoying. In all, a total dumbass, so much that all his posts were moved or deleted and the mods assigned a -3 post count to him, signal of final warning or get banned.

And then the dumbass decided to apologize. He made two "I'm sorry!" threads and in almost all of his following posts repeated "I'm sorry!" somewhere or another.

During this whole thing we were also assaulted by some forum regulars who kept saying "He's new, don't be so harsh on him." or "He isn't used to being here." and other bullshit like that.

This is flat out illogical. Say I am on the internet for the first time. Why the hell would I want to make a first impression by spamming shit polls all over the place? Why the hell would I type as if my keyboard was broken? Why the hell would I wait for two days before catching on to the idea that maybe doing all that wasn't so good for my reputation? And then why the hell would I suddenly burst into cute mode and apologize to everyone and their mother and wish that they could just love me to no end?

I know! Because it works.

Yah. That moron managed to cause his fun amount of mayhem and a few days and some crying later, we have a few dozen members hugging him and going "Awww!"

If I'd come to VM doing that, where the fuck would I be today? How would you guys have liked me coming here, spamming my ass of and then begging for forgiveness like someone being sent over to hell? I would've flat out been banned. And I would've earned it.

It's not the first time I see such a scenario. Another long story is the adventures of Blaize and how he mananed to get a dozen million supposedly "Final warnings"! And then he got banned and un-banned 5 or 6 more times before people finally caught on to the idea that he was a hopeless case.

This newbie, as far as I'm concerned, can suck my dick. When I look at a newbie, I look at how he greets us. His greeting was like opening the door to someone shitting into your face. You missed the chance, bud. Had I been in charge, you'd have been banned from Earth altogether.

lol, i see your point shuri, and i have to second you. Spammers piss me off. Why do they do it, cause they want the attention. I find that if someone spams, its cause they are not getting attention on the board, so its causes them to go into panic mode: im not being noticed mode: time to start spamming mode.

But i can assure you, its amazing when the fool gets banned. When it happens, i suggest that you open up whatever music player that you have, pour urself a glass of your favorite soda, or chocolate milk, and play Bittersweet symphony. It'll make u feel all warm and gooie inside Very Happy

Sometimes they get better like the one BWS stealing name at that other board, but sometimes they don't.

Jesus Christ on a crutch, I don't know why they coddle people so much. Yes, people make mistakes (Posting something in the wrong place once) but there's a point where they're never going to get it.

It's the reason I stopped posting there. It was fun to spam the fresh kills but jeez, when it's just pure useless spam. Like a conversation (And yes I know coming from me it seems like it's hypocracy because I was part of the late night thread at VM that ran what like 30 some odd pages) that can be done in PM's. The diffrence between my spam and someone else's is that it was actually funny coming from me. This fool just posts sentance fragments.

Even if they do get banned expect them to sign up with another account and make a "what happen to mi account" thread.

Well to put it simply:

when the regulars start whimpering and moaning about not being fair. REMIND them that he was supposed to have already read the rules and known not to do this. not your fault if he didnt...they are there plain as day for anyone to see...
