Who Has Played Final Fantasy VIII - I think it RULES... what do you think?

I think it is a GREAT game... although confusing at first with the junction and wat not. But once you get that down it is very fun. I would recomend it if any one has any queston wether to buy it or not.
I was wondering who your fav character is? Mine is Rinoa, i think she is really pretty and care free. Then i like Squall, he is cute. :p
I really love the beging for when you first start. i like it when rinoa is saying she'l be there, i promise, i have a pic of that on my profile... check it out!
I am only on the first disc so im not sure how it is later on but right now... it is GREAT!!!!!!!!

im up to ultimecia, on the last disc, who is the last boss...wait...let me shut up now, and not ruin the game Very Happy

My favorite characters would probably be irwin, squall, and Zell.

As for my overview of the game...i thought it was a cool game, and it had a decent storyline, but it was waaaaay to weird of a battle system.n In case you dont know, i enjoy physicaly bashing people, and in this game, you dont realize that you cant do that unless you draw LOTS of good magic. Also, i felt that the game was too dependant on GF's. I didnt like that too much, but hey, thats me Very Happy

Also, the making of weapons was a cool idea, but it was kind of complicated. I guess if i tried the game again, i would probably own the game much more, but im lazy Very Happy

personally, i liked FFVII the most, but thats me Very Happy

This game rawks. I loved it. Forget FFVII and its overratedness. This game rawks FFVII's socks.

FFVIII = rawxor. I give it two thumbs up.

I really like the songs!!!!!!!! My favorit is the ball dance one (at the very begining of the game) then i like the song when you are Laguana and are in Julia are in her room.

Admittedly, I have to say it's my least favorite FF game, for reasons that have been said before. The lack of ability to customize weapons and the awkward junctioning system turned me off to the game. Characters and stories were good, as were the designs of the Guardian Forces. Odin was incredibly cool.

Otherwise, I wasn't that impressed.

omg!!i frequently get "ragged on" b/c this is my fav game of all time (next to xenogears of course)

i loooooooooove the sound track! specially eyes on you and the theme for the shumi tribe place when you are outside (same music as odin's theme)

i personally loved the battle system, b/c i went around getting tons of ultima, then i went ot the hell island and made all my characters lvl 100. so they are so freeking awesome!!! ultemicia was a joke compared to us! mwahaha

i also realy liked Gilgamesh, when you got him...cause gilgamesh roxorz ur soxorz.

but besides that, give me a good ol buster sword and some materia, and watch me own the house Very Happy
