Sunburn... - The devils work.

Today my sister-in-law came to visit with her two kids so I decided to take them out to a local nature/activity park to let the kids run a round other crazy things that kids do. Anyway after about a hour or so it was getting really warm so we decided take advantage of a large tree so as to get some shade. I sat down for a minute or so before I was barraged with a echo of "Uncle Bob!, Uncle Bob come play with us!" (On a side note, call me Uncle Bob at your own risk :p) so like the big kid I am I decided to join them for a while. A few hours and a lot of sun later we decided to head home as the kids were getting pretty tired and to be honest so was I :p

We got home and relaxed for a while before my sister-in-law headed back home. After about 2 minutes of her leaving I sit down to relax with a nice cool beer then I suddenly feel a burning/itching sensation on my arm so I look down and it is bright red, when I say read I mean red as in the brightest shade of red ever imaginable. I then think to myself I had better go look in the mirror to check if I have sunburn anywhere else. I get to the mirror take of my sun glasses and what do I see? A giant lobster staring back at me! Yup just about my whole body had sunburn. So I am now trying to move as little as possible as the slightest touch of anything hurts like hell Rant

I just got back from company retreat to an island.. it was very hot and sunny there and NO I dont like sun bathing.. I went for 4 hours snorkeling and 1 hour scuba diving and I applied 2 tubes of 'banana boat' sunblock lotion.. thank god I'm not burnt but I'm tanned and toast now..

heh, well, from the hardships of me and Ming's Job, we work outside all day, playing with little kids. From that, both of us have gotten really tan and a little burned. Though, i have a strange thing with my skin, whereas i happen to tan to probably my darkest in about 30 minutes of the sun (probably because of the Cuban / Italian blood in me). Then, when i DO get burned, it doesnt really burn, but rather, it just sheds off, and possibly hurts a little. MAN I LOVE THE SUN!!

PS: now im crispy brown Very Happy

I don't burn real easy.
this summer with the surgery and all has left me pastey white.
which sucks cause I would like to have at least alittle tan when I return to school in a month.

I dont' burn at all, only on my nose. So I look rudolph, the reindeer person when I get a burn there. Luckily I have been putting on sun screen so I wont burn. I still need a tan though. 2 pale. But summer isnt over yet! Very Happy
