I just really wish that "upper management" would listion to those who know better. Today we were told to put some new software on the network. We told them that that would be a very bad idea. Did they listen, NO. We did as were told, so now it's technically not our fault that we have to shutdown the network campus to fix the +50,000 problems.

Upper management always seeks whats best for THEM! They don't care about you, or anything else thats lower than them. Its obvious that lower scale people help make the company what it is but not in they're eyes. Oh no. They suck and should be dragged out in the front lot and shot execution style. I will and forever hate the upper class and management. If your rich and have a problem with this, consult the fully loaded chamber of my barretta.

Yea...i see that kind of thing everywhere. I see it alot even in my scout troop...thats right...MY SCOUT TROOP. Im technically part of the upper management, being the senior patrol leader...but its always like they do things only to benefit their needs. These kinds of things include putting tasks which they should be doing on other people. It makes me mad

the upper management in our troop is great, its the little kids who forget to take their ritalin because their parents never taught them any discipline that make the problems. we dont need to teach this crap, we already know it. we're doing it for their sake, and they dont respect that....

Funny how upper managment seems to be no different in Canadia then in the States ... I'm losing my job in November-December cause of some of their ''smart-ass'' idea to replace us by machines <_<

My comany is pretty ass-backward too. It's soo damn top heavy that we're losing a lot of people becuase of the way management has been lately. 3 more people quit just yesterday. We've lost around 10 customer care reps, about 5 in sales, 3 in upper management, and our entire collections department... in the last few months. Bear in mind that we're a company of less than 80 people.

We've been through 3 different CEOs in the past three years. Instead of promoting people from within, they hire outside... for new "useless" positions... and then fire off entire departments because we can outsource cheaper.

The one big thing that I'm taking issue with is how we've got people that have never worked in retail or sales making marketing decisions, what we carry in our stores, and all sorts of new procedures. All of which have been horrible and very counterproductive.

If Upper management are supposed to be the most intelligent and influential people in the company, why do they tend to suffer from the "Any Key" syndrome? I'm currently studying computer science and should graduate in the spring. At one point I thought about studying business, but I'm really glad I didn't choose that route now. It really would have been a complete waste of my time. Judging by the intelligence of upper management, their degree, if they have one, really must not mean much. Upper management should try to learn from Dilbert.
