Stupid Teen DRIVERS!!

omg! i was on my roller blades on my way back from my freind ambers house and this smart ass ::pardon foriegn language::
came flying by and almost hit me so i threw a rock at his car and hit it and he kept speedin off laughin at me out the window....im 13 years old and probably have 10 times the responsibility of that moron in the old crappy 1986 thunder bird
with his stupid orange goatee.... i swear if i would have had a knife on me i would have chucked it at his tire and popped it straight up.

As a side note it appears that many of us are getting into automotbile-related accidents and rantings. Just goes to show you that the blessings of technology may not be all they're cracked up to be. Cars included. Just look at all the major damage and loss of life one can relate to cars. Yet, at the same time, they are one of the most commonly used inventions and are very convenient to have. Technology, like many other things, is indeed a double edged sword.

Tis quite the same with the internet itself. I would have never met you guys without it, but it can also be a source of great evil and chaos. Think about children meeting people they shouldn't and such

True. With free and easy access to so much information and communication with people getting good information is as easy as gettng bad information, and meeting good people is as easy as meeting bad people. But it's a risk that you must take in everyday life as well when meeting people on the street. However, the internet requires a different set of "senses" as far as distinguising the good from the bad, senses that children don't have as fo yet. That is why, just as you don't leave a child alone in a park, you don't leave a child alone on the internet. Indeed, ours is a very contradictory world.

You could also argue that the internet has a sick sense of humor for ever allowing both Kettle and myself to ever post on the same board!

Back on topic now: Not all teen drivers suck, it just happens that a lot of them aren't careful

Very true. But you could argue that it's THAT that makes a bad driver BAD. Not being careful. It's debatable. But, yeah. Not all teen drivers are reckless meanies. Some of us are very nice considerate drivers. Then there's me.
