It's actually my current background...I found it Dec 31 2003 and posted it...It's like the same day my Grandpa died one year ago. It hit me like a brick to the face thrown by some kinda quaterback from some football team.
While both my grandfathers did not give their lives for the country just having them a part of it made it a better place.
The recently deceased went from Military to actually working for a church/Preschool.
My other Granddad who I didn't know too well was a Navy man through and through and instilled in ALL his children the American dream of working hard and getting the job done.
I miss them both and can't bring myself to visit their graves because it hurts way too much and it only hurts because I miss them...You shouldn't be sad or hurt because someone is gone..You should be happy that they lived and you got to meet them. I don't wish to cry for their death but celebrate their life. |
