Yes..... If you have talked to them and you love them for who they are, then that is great......Looks should have nothing to do with love, you should love someone based on their personality, so yes I think it is possible to fall in love with someone who you have never met.

As much as I'd want to agree with PandaManda ... ''looks'' has it's share of importance in love. Geneticly speaking, well, it's not quite the look but the scent that has a certain effect on us, so if you feel like you're a perfect match with someone's personality, but aren't physicly, then something is wrong ... and yeah, all things considered if the personnality matches chances are it will be physicly as well. But it isn't really falling in love with someone's personnality that can cause problem, it's falling in love with someone's hmm, body? We are animals, animals that are selective in our quest for finding a geneticly compatible ''better half'' ... and in the eventuallity that we do not have either the time or the will to go out and look for someone's true self (which can take a while) the ''default programation'' that can kick in will be the physicle attraction and near-instant compatibility overwrite ... in other words, that will come and create something between 2 persons that would have normally not fall in love, end up in bed ...

Plus there's always the thing that if you meet someone say online the people's personalities are more brash and open then when ya meet them they're quiet and reserved.

I speak of what I useta be myself..I useta let my words flow on-line and cut them off face to face..Now I say whatever I want whenever I want. Like how trading black people as a commodity can be a good thing (Joke between me and black friends...I know they're gonna cut me one day.) Granted now I no longer take el crapo and if people give it to me I tend to ball it up and shove it in their faces.

And true, people tend to act differently online, but the thing with that is that they're also showing more of their true selves. At least, I know that's what I do. People are more reserved when they meet people in real life, because they know they're being judged on the way they look when they say what they say. And it's a whole lot easier to smack someone in real life than it would be online. A physical smack, I mean, not just a *smacks so-and-so*

ive had my experiences with this subject, and i have to say, while it may seem to be a person who is really cool and u really like, and would be actually willing to say "love," then meeting them could possibly be a good thing. That, or talking to them (which you seem to have already done). Just dont get really hooked up on them, because im sure that about 90% percent of the time, its not really what you think them to be, they live too far to actually have a relationship with, or they are some 90 year old fat guy (whith a beard, lest i forget) who gets a rise out of making younger girls fall for him with his l337 conversational skills, and then does crazy things like stalking or whatever.

But hey, thats just me and my experiences. I had the problem with the distance, knowing that the person lived in california, and i lived in CT. So ya. Im done now

I guess that looks can have a little to do with love, but in my life I have never really based a relationship on looks......sorry, but I am a hopeless romantic..... if you feel something, go for it.....if it doesn't work then regroup and try again with someone new!
