So I am kind of all over the place in my interests, but my sweet hubbie brought home some crack for me and I just had to share!
1. Lone Wolf and Cub: this series of 28 graphic novels has become the family addiction. It goes all over the place from awesome fight scenes to touching moments. Keep in mind, this ain't no funny book. If you get a chance to read them, take advantage. I find that, because of the small print and my poor vision, I read each book in about 45 minutes... my average workout time on the cross-trainer.
2.Strangers in Paradise: I know that a couple of you are into this series. What can I say? Lesbians, intrigue and lots of twists. Can't get enough of Terry Moore in this one. Yummy.
3.John Kovalik: The first thing I read of his was Dork Tower. He has since gone on to do lots of artwork for several games as well as many of the signs for Origins this past year. Never can give a man too many props who brings a "warhamster" to the table wearing a ski hat. Did I mention "Perky Goth"? In short, a REALLY nice guy!
4. Aaron Williams is coming out with a new series that I am totally hip to... PS 238. A book based on a school for superhero's children. Fun stuff so far.
Well, those are a few of my dirty little secrets. Anyone else care to turn me on to theirs? |
