Simply stated, because we are a stupid, stupid species.

We fight for no good reason, unlike animals who mostly fight for territory, breeding rights, food, etc. We fight over things like colour of a person's skin. WHO CARES?! Rabbits certainly do not care whether another rabbit is black, white, grey, or spotted. It is still another rabbit, just like all races of humans are still humans.

We kill other people for no reason. Most animals only kill for food, and onyl kill their own species when absolutely necessary. Most do not even fight if they can avoid confrontation with posturing, etc. to establish dominance without a fight.

All this was started because some idiot rabbit breeders decided to be dumb and drive away breeders and potential breeders of their own breed, which is already suffering for numbers. The breed will become extinct at this rate, or at lesta dropped from the American Rabbit Breeders Association list of recognized breeds. Why? Because these couple of people will not listen to any new idea or slightly different idea from what they think, label anyone with a new or different idea as either "Bad" or "crazy," and they are stuch up in their self-righteous butts and apparently either do not see how they are hurting their beautiful breed or do not care!

Then, after talking to some other breeders, I found that it is happening currently in another breed, too. I mean, I know it happens in more than one breed, but people are trying to get other breeder's kicked out of the breed club! NICE, HELPFUL breeders, too boot!

I swear people need to just grow up, get a life, and figure out what dunces they are. I mean, everyone makes mistakes, sure, but not everyone has to be a perpetual jerk. Flaming Mad

I think Humanity has developed an overactive Greed Gland. Think about our economy. It's going down the drain. Grunt workers are getting fired, and the rest of the grunts have to work that much harder to take up the slack. Why? "Because I have to make my boat payment!"

By the same token, Glory has become another prime factor in the human greed gland. Prestige. Those breeders drive away all breeders of the same breed out of an instinctual desire for the prestige that comes with being the only breeder of that breed in the area. Not to mention all the beneficial effects that come of monopolizing...

It’s not so much that humans are stupid, we arte just un-evolved.
Human intelligence only arouse around 40,000 years ago, which is not long enough to properly evolve.
I would put money down on if any other social and territorial animals gained intelligence they would act much the same way as we do.
I would say few if any people ever really become anything other than children.

Glorified children. At least children have an excuse. Children are SXPECTED to act like that, but adults should "know better."

As for the simple part, that first line was the simple part. The rest were qualifying statements. Shocked

toward religion more than anything. But I have to say I agree. I'm a Christian, but I believe that God is God... in all religions. It's just a matter of interpretation. And different races version of God has been the reason for more wars than anything.

I find it very sad that people can't see past things like race, color, religion and even sexual orientation. Why... tell me I would love to hear what your reasoning behind dislikeing a person just b/c they are a different color. Tell me, I will listen.
