I dont usually like DC. The only series i like are Batman and Batman related comic series (Nightwing, Birds of Prey etc) |

I never cared for DC period. Typically I stuch with X-Men. I kinda wish people would back off Wolverine. He's honestly one of those I liked alot until everyone talked about him like he was the end all be all. Pssh, that's just me though

Actually, it always was one. It doesn't take long when you really start to look at the plots of most all comics to realize that they're really just Soaps with lots of action and supernatural powers thrown in. I mean, all the love triangles (see Cyclopes, Jean, Wolverine), the discovering of long lost relatives whom you thought were dead (see Cyclopes and bro), complicated love histories (see Spiderman and MJ), blackmail (any number of examples) and tragedy (again, any number of examples). With all that how could it NOT be? They just happen to be out saving the world at the same time.

I need a name here. Are you talking about Madam Web? Or Black Cat? or the actual Spider Woman or some other person? I dont have my secret wars comics with me. Gimme a name and i can get you a back story. |

I know that but i mean the blatant almost this is a script from NBC's Passions, kinda soap. I've already decided that the whole Cyclopes Jean and Wolverine is from ABC's General Hospital. Yes i watch the soaps when cable's out and there's nothing else on, soaps become your friend.
going back to the comics I also tend to like abscure and one hit wonders in comics. |
