Crap films - Why God?! 2

Ok, I haven't been pissed off at anything for a while and I attributed that to the X-mas season but not even this happy holiday could stop me from hating something THIS inept!

Ok, a couple weeks ago I saw the movie THEY not a bad film but wasn't as scary as I wanted it to be. Anywho, I was sitting in the theater failing to get my mack on with a girl who I wasn't trying to get my mack on with in the first place. When I heard the tell-tale signs of the apocalypse. It was a drumroll that lead into some rap music. I thought, "this don't look good." Soon the preview was over and I was free to go about my Mack-less movie going experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it.

Sometime about the middle of last week I was sitting down to the Simpsons and getting ready to laugh my bootay off when I heard it....AGAIN! That telltale drumroll was coming from my TV I thought, "Oh God no!" Then it happened, ever since that day EVERY commercial break I've seen has a preview of this accursed movie. What is the name of this movie you may be asking. Why none other than Drumline!

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! This film is about a college that apparently thinks that people go to football games to watch a bunch of no talent college students play their musical instruments. I myself enjoy the musical interludes at sporting events but if the sporting event wasn't there and it was not called a "Symphony" I see no reason to be there.

Anywo, this school apparently sux cause they can't play good due to the fact that they're too proper or something. Then Lil' Bow Wow or whoever the frig this A-hole is shows up and apparently is accepted into college for his abilities to play the drums, that or on a minority scholarship that caters to steryotypical African Americans instead of the hardworking ones.

Then all of a sudden since this ONE person out of say 100 has SOME talent on the snare drum then automatically the bass drummers, trombonists, flute, etc. players all of a sudden have all this talent that was NEVER there before. Apparently later in the film this Jerk-wad band Mesiah gets kicked out of the band and the rest of the band sux all of a sudden again and it's right before the big game!

Oh no, however will we win the college bowl without our Token (Stereotypical AA, there seems to be many normal AA's present) black person? Maybe your team could try relying on itself instead of its band. Guess that's too much to ask.

Anywho, This movie lacks concept, goal, and outlook and hence I will not be seeing it. Some wonder how I can judge a movie before I see it and I simply reply, "Well, I've always felt that any movie featuring a boy and his drum is crap."

See, that featured a boy, a drum, and a cinnabon. Cinnabon's are like Febreeze, they fix everything...Even bad movies.

How could you talk smack about a marching band movie! The most holy of all things that are sacred! There are not enough movies in this planet that revolve around marching band! I was in the marching band for cryin out loud! I watch competitions on television (Go Texas A&M btw).... I mean...

oh my god! Does that make me the saddest person on the planet or what?

Seriously. I do wanna see this movie because even though I enjoy football I just LOVE a good marching band. So screw the plotline. If they can rock out I feel it will be worth my money!

Out of ALLLL the people who should hate this movie it should be YOU Saleb. This movie focusses on ONE person making the difference between a crappy and and a STUPENDOUS one. Or did you not grasp that yet? No Offense or anything but a Band is a TEAM and ONE person can't make a difference. This movie basically mirrors the Nazi's and Hitler. See Hitler comes in to Germany from Austria and paints or drums...I think he was a drummer. Anyway, Hitler's drumming away when a talent scout notices him he's fond of his ideas and likes that he's a vegetarian so he puts him on the marching band. Then this upstart starts wreaking havoc and leads all the marching bands in one glorious march across Europe. Along the way they kill several millions of other marching bands but eventually Hitler starts losing it so he's kicked off the band. BUT, it's right before the end-game and they NEED Hitler and his mad drumming skillz. But they can't find him because he's in a ditch with his wife Ada covered in Petrol somewhere. So the moral of the story is, don't see this movie or else you'll be supporting Nazi's!

Whoa! All of that over a movie! I bet you kicked butt on the debate team! (or at least scared the livin bejeezus out of the judges)

keep repeating to yourself that this is just a movie.... I promise Hitler isn't coming to kill you. Blah

Feel better? Good.

Oh and BTW.... I AM STILL GONNA SEE THIS MOVIE! Hmmm

hehehe, I just got done reading what I wrote...It was quite funny I must admit. And Saleb, go ahead and see the movie. I ain't got no qualms with ya. I just go on Tangents a lot. It comes from everyone telling me to live outside the box and ever since I was 15 I've been trying to get into a box. Only Succeeded with one girl but I'm gonna keep trying and one day I will have ventured into many boxes. Unless my next one is Doot...Then I'll be content....MWAHAHA! Adult MOD here I come. I understand how someone might want to see this movie.

But.

Hasn't this concept and storline been beaten to hell and back nearly ten thousand times in the past? Especially in ones like 'Disney Channel Original Movies'? Just like anything popular these days, we need some f'ing originality and creativity back in society.
