nice quote friend.....I definately believe things can be done, but laziness is a big part of the reason why it doesn't happen |

that's a quote? Laziness can be overcome if you push the right buttons, for me, it's society.

That's just the point...simplify...people are what make life difficult...I firmly believe that....sigh....either way the world may never be what I feel it could be...maybe I am the problem...I am such an undying idealist, believing everything can be bautiful....ah well |
That's good ! If we keep our idealistic point of view we will act to make the world a better place no matter what. Stay an undying idealistic and dno,t be discourage by anything and remember that even in the worst situation we can find solution. NO, the world is not as beautiful I we wish it to be but if we keep working to make it better it will be one day or i t have more chance to become^___^
When I wanna show in my explaination is that even in these bads things there is reason why and there is good people and that do that if we find appropriate solution we can change it! So hang on!^___^ |

We start with what we can do. What can we do? The first step is to get rid of all that apathy and laziness. It's possible. Been proven time and time again. We have to present the image to the world around us, to tell people, to a certain extent, we have to be like the evangelists who go door to door asking "Have you seen the light of Christ yet?". They annoy me, because I have no belief in religion of any sort. But that's beside the point. Instead of going door to door, we have to make a point of living what we preach. Some people will ask why, because someone always asks why. So we tell them. Some will agree and some won't. Maybe one in ten, maybe less will convert. But someone will convert. The more people we convert, the more they will persuade, and it'll just snowball until it takes over. Our first task is to present a unified, and extremely public front. We have to make people wonder why. That's the trick, right there. If people don't care, they won't convert. So we have to make them care. We do this, not by appealing to society, but by appealing to the individual, on a huge level. Get enough individuals, and we'll become a society, at which point we can really get to work.
But first, we have to get up off our asses and get started. |

Wow !^_^
I totally agree with general on that !
It's proven that people don't do what we told them to do but by exemple, by what we do. |

*Rev reads Lews post
*Rev becomes dismayed and overjoyed as one more person now gets 'IT'
*Rev starts wonder about whether he really should go on to semminary school if there won't be the job security
I agree 100% Lews, and if you want to read something that feeds into what you are saying, go pick up the Sunday NY Times, and read Maureen Dowd's column in the 'Week in Review' section |

It's unfortunate that leading by example only works if you have a good publicist these days... but perhaps that can be remedied. Oh, well. I will continue to strive to do my best to provide a (hopefully!) good example for those around me so that they become willing to try and take the good parts and apply them to their own lives. |
