They announced in the morning today that one of the teachers of my school, whom i did have as a teacher for my psychology class, had passed away last night, and very abruptly. They did not announce the reason why, but it just hit hard, and it has left me in an awkward mood today, so i figured that i would share this with you guys, to pray for him for whereever he goes. |

Today, they had the teachers tell us the reason why he passed.
The teacher had shot himself on monday, to take his own life.

I'm really sorry for his family and friends and students. That is definitely shocking. |

Wow. I don't think I can sum it up anymore than that. I too had this teacher, and last night I was saddened when Tobs called me and told me that he had passed away so suddenly. I didn't know him well, but I enjoyed him as a teacher. But I would never have expected him to take his own life. I guess there are just some things about people that we can never know. Wherever he is, I will be praying for him.
This just goes as a lesson: Always tell loved ones how you feel, and never stay angry at people, because you never know what is lurking around the corner, and you never know what someone is feeling. I'm sure a quick "I love you" or "I was thinking about you" has saved more lives than we can ever know.

The passing of a life, especially when one takes it themselves, is a very hard thing to bear. The taking of one's own life means that they were without hope, a position that I fear too many people are falling into. It is easy to get caught up in the inferiority that our culture pounds into us, easy to lose sight of that light at the end of the tunnel. Living is hard. I can only hope that, now, he may find peace wherever he ends up, for, indeed, that is what he deserves. Peace.

It is just very awkward of this to happen. He was one of the more social teachers with his students, students liked him, he always was happy in classes. As of last week, i would have no clue as to why he would do it...its just strange to me.
But i digress. I didn't know of the rest of his life, but rather just of the life of the psychology teacher i had in my junior year. He has had many painful experiences, ranging from motorcycle accidents, to ulsers. Its just that he was the last person one would expect to do something like that...
